Crystal Palace Road, London, SE22

Crystal Palace Road, situated in East Dulwich, London, underwent a substantial architectural upgrade. The existing one-bedroom Victorian flat was transformed into a practical family home through the addition of a large, single-storey rear and side wrap-around extension.

The redesign focused on optimising the existing layout and creating a new rear extension. The original part of the house was remodelling to accommodate two spacious bedrooms, a functional study, and a modern bathroom – the rear extension was strategically designed to introduce an open-plan living space that seamlessly integrates with the rear garden and inner courtyard, effectively maximising the natural light into the living area.

The interior was revamped with modern finishes and aesthetics. The aim was to achieve an elegant yet simple and uncluttered feel whilst complimenting the building’s existing Victorian character.
